I work in an active, engaged style to help you explore your feelings, history, beliefs and behaviors to better understand your relationships and work through the problems you're experiencing. I help couples identify and understand the patterns and dynamics that are causing difficulties within your relationship so that you can better relate to one another and deepen your partnership.
How Psychotherapy Works
Sessions are typically 50 minutes long, and we meet minimally once a week. Our first few sessions will be opportunities for us to get to know each other, for you to tell me what is bringing you into therapy, and to see if we are a good fit. After that, we'll delve more deeply to discover what is at the root of your issues. Meeting consistently is very important in making sure therapy is as effective as possible for you. The length of treatment varies depending on your goals and the complexity of issues addressed.
